Greg Hargarten

Greg Hargarten is a Saskatoon based painter, musician and graphic artist. He rediscovered his love of painting after a stay the U of S Kenderdine Campus at Emma Lake in 2004. Since then he has focused his energy on plein air painting, working at locations across Western Canada. He likes to work at a quick, energetic pace and tries to complete his works in the field. His goal is to be the medium for creativity, allowing the paint to be applied to the canvas directly from experience without stopping too long in conscious thought.
